10th Year Anniversary of Asian Beach Polo Championship 2019 at InterContinental Hua Hin Resort
The 10th Asian Beach Polo Championship 2019, the one and only beach polo event in Asia, will return to the InterContinental Hua Hin Resort this year on April 27, 2019.
The tournament will be held on the beach front at the InterContinental Hua Hin Resort, Prachuap Khiri Khan as teams compete to win the HRH Princess Bhajarakitiyabha Trophy. All proceeds go to the Nabha Foundation under the initiative of HRH Princess Bhajarakitiyabha. This year will be a particularly remarkable year as it will be a celebration of the 10th-year anniversary of the Asian Beach Polo Championship in Hua Hin, Thailand.
On April 3, the official Press Conference of the 10th Year Anniversary Asian Beach Polo Championship 2019 was held at Honda Ultimate Screen Cinema, Paragon Cineplex with more than 80 VIP guests and media in attendance. In the Press Conference, there were several special guest speakers who came to share the vision, objective and expectation of the event; including: Suwat Liptapanlop, former Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand; Nantinee Tanner, Vice President of Thailand Equestrian Federation; Proudputh Liptapanlop, Executive Director of Proud Real Estate and Eakkapop Dechkriangkraisorn, Vice Chairman of Nabha Foundation.
“We are proud to carry on the legend of this charity polo event that continues in this, the year 10th together with B Grim Group. This year we welcome BMW Thailand and Santa Barbara to be part of this charity event to support Nabha Foundation.”
“The Asian Beach Polo Championship 2019 is not only promoting Hua Hin tourism as sport destination but also it is a Charity event to support Nabha Foundation for giving chance to those who are disadvantaged to happily live in our society”; said Michael Janssen, General Manager of InterContinental Hua Hin Resort.
On April 27, the event will start with several activities including the polo tournament from 12.30 pm until 5.30 pm with more than 12 teams from countries around the world. After the awards ceremony guest will proceed to the beautifully decorated garden lawn of the resort and celebrate the 10th Anniversaries with a themed dinner “Aloha Hua Hin”.
With all the arrangements well-prepared and in order to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of this Charity Tournament, the 10th Asian Beach Polo Championship 2019 will be another great event that reflects and supports Hua Hin as one of the most beautiful beach destinations in Thailand.
